Here is a program I wrote to calculate your college GPA.
As opposed to online GPA calculators (like this one), the courses you enter are saved. Because of this, you do not need to re-enter them every time you want to calculate your GPA. See grades.txt for an example.
This program is targeted towards students looking to transfer to a CSU or UC, but will also work for other college students.
The process is really simple:
1. Unpack the downloaded .zip file to a folder
2. Modify the included file "grades.txt"
3. Run the program
4. If you find bugs or have suggestions, feel free to post a comment here or contact me
Download here
PS: I can't guarantee the accuracy of the program, but I have used it to several times to calculate my GPA and have found no problems.

Hi, I just downloaded your software and I wanted to know what a CSU and UC were.
ReplyDeleteThanks a lot
Alisha.
Hi Alisha,
DeleteCSU = California State University. UC = University of California. Here is a Wikipedia page describing both.
I'm surprised you found this post! It's something I wrote more than two years ago.
Anyhow, if you find issues with, check out this GPA calculator maintained by San Francisco State University (ironically, a CSU).
